Remote Control Problems - Basic Remedies:
 
  • Make sure new batteries are properly installed in the remote control.
  • Press the SAT button at the top of the remote control and try again.
  • Make sure your TV is set to Channel 3 or 4.
  • For remote controls with a blue number two (2) on the bottom, make sure your TV is set to Channel 60 or 73.
 
Choose the statement that best describes your problem:

My remote doesn't change the TV channels, volume, or turn the TV on/off.

My remote doesn't change the Satellite channels.

My remote changes satellite channels on multiple TVs that have Green 1 or Single Receiver Remotes.

My remote changes Satellite channels on two TVs that have Blue 2 Remotes.

My TV changes Satellite channels by itself.
My remote only works occasionally, or only when I'm close to the receiver (UHF remote controls).
