Control Problems: |

Problem: My
remote only works occasionally, or only when I'm close to the
DISH Network receiver (UHF remote controls).
Solution: There may be interference between the receiver and the remote, or
other issues. |
| |
NOTE: This problem may occur
with the second remote control (the TV2 remote) of a Dual-receiver install.
The TV2 remote and the receiver may be too far away
interfere with the reception
of the radio signal from
the remote.

| |
1.
Make sure new batteries are properly installed in the remote control.
|
2. If the batteries in the remote
are new, try removing the batteries from the remote for five seconds, then put the batteries back, and check that they are installed correctly.
|
3. Take
your TV2 remote to the TV1 location
- where your DISH Network receiver is located. Using the TV2 remote,
press the big red POWER button on the top of the remote.
|
4.
After pressing the POWER button on your TV2 remote
if the blue light on your receiver turns on and off, try to relocate the receiver where it can get better reception from the remote.
Try moving the receiver to the top of your entertainment center, or outside of a cabinet or shelf.
