Problem: My remote control
changes channels on more than one TV at a time -
both remotes have a blue TV2 on the bottom of the remote.
Solution: Change the Remote Address on your TV2 remote. |

NOTE: Do not allow more than 20 seconds to elapse while performing Steps Six through Ten.

1.
To make sure you're working with only one TV at a time, unplug the power cord of one of your DISH Network receivers from the electrical outlet.
|
2. Using a TV2 remote, try to change channels on the TV2 television
set that you believe is still powered on. If the TV2 remote controls this TV,
take this remote to the DISH Network receiver that is still powered on.
|
3. Make sure TV1
is turned on and receiving a satellite picture.

4. Using
the TV1 remote for this receiver, press the SAT button
to put the remote in Satellite Mode (the SAT button should glow red briefly). |
5. Using
the TV1 remote, press
the MENU button, then press number 6 (for "System Setup"),
then press number 1 (for "Installation"), then press number 3 (for "System Info").

Your current TV2 Remote Address is listed on this screen. This is a two-digit number, such as 01 or 04 - please write this number down. |
7. Set the TV1 remote aside, and pick up the TV2 remote. Using the
TV2 remote, press and hold the SAT button
until all four buttons on the top of the remote glow red. After the four buttons on the top of your remote flash red,
release the SAT button. |

Refer to the number you wrote down in Step Six - using the TV2 remote, enter a two-digit number between 01 and 15 that is different than the number you wrote down previously.

After entering a two-digit number, press the # button (the pound button) on your remote control. The SAT button should
blink red three times.

10.
Press the RECORD button on the remote, and the "System Info" screen on your TV should show the new Remote Address.

11.
Using the TV1 remote, press the CANCEL button on the remote several times, until you see a regular TV picture.

12.
Take the TV2 remote back to your TV2 location, and try to change the channel UP or DOWN, to see if this procedure solved the problem.
