| The Program Guide Shows "No Info": |
| |
1. Unplug the power cord for your DISH Network receiver from the electrical outlet, and wait fifteen (15) seconds. |
2. Plug the power cord for the DISH Network receiver back into the electrical outlet. |
3. Watch the TV screen for a message that shows "Acquiring Satellite Signal",
then a message that shows "Downloading Program Guide". Allow both of these screens to finish. |
4. Try to change channels with your DISH Network remote. If the program guide information is still missing, continue with Step Five below. |
5. Press the blue MENU button on your remote control. |
6. After the Menu screen appears, press number 6 (for "System Setup"), then press number 1 (for "Installation"), then press number 1 again (for “Point Dish”).
|
7.
Use the blue DOWN Arrow button on your remote to highlight the option marked “Check Switch”,
then press the ENTER button on the remote when the “Check Switch” button is highlighted on the screen. The Check Switch test will run.
This test will frequently resolve many "missing channel" problems.
|
8.
If this test shows a red X under any column, be sure to note which
Satellite column (such as 119, 110, etc) this X appeared under. See below, then contact Blue Sky Satellite Tech Support (1-800-819-6520, Option '3').
|
9.
After the test completes, if you see a “Done” message on the screen, press the ENTER button.
Then, press the CANCEL button repeatedly until you see the show you were watching, or you see the “Acquiring Satellite Signal” message.
