Channels Missing:

Problems Receiving Local Channels:

1.
Unplug the power cord for your DISH Network receiver from the electrical outlet, and wait fifteen (15) seconds.

2. Plug the power cord for the DISH Network receiver back into the electrical outlet.

3. Watch the TV screen for a message that shows "Acquiring Satellite Signal", then a message that shows "Downloading Program Guide". Allow both of these screens to finish.

4. Try to change channels with your DISH Network remote. If local channels are still missing, continue with Step Five below.

5. Press the blue MENU button on your remote control.

6. After the Menu screen appears, press number 6 (for "System Setup"), then press number 1 (for "Installation"), then press number 1 again (for “Point Dish”).

7. Use the blue DOWN Arrow button on your remote to highlight the option marked “Check Switch”, then press the ENTER button on the remote when the “Check Switch” button is highlighted on the screen. The Check Switch test will run. This test will frequently resolve many "missing channel" problems.

8. If this test shows a red X under any column, be sure to note which Satellite column this X appeared under (such as 119, 110, etc). See below, then contact Blue Sky Satellite Tech Support (1-800-819-6520, Option '3').

9. After the test completes, if you see a “Done” message on the screen, press the ENTER button. Then, press the CANCEL button repeatedly until you see the show you were watching, or you see the “Acquiring Satellite Signal” message.

10. If your local channels are still missing, there may be an issue with the DISH Network hardware. Contact Blue Sky Satellite Tech Support at 1-800-819-6520, Option '3'.
 
Channels Not Showing in Program Guide:

1. Press the blue GUIDE button on your remote control.
- If the List: 'All Sub' is not shown at the top of the screen, press the blue GUIDE button again, until 'All Sub' is listed, then press the red CANCEL button. This will list all of the channels you are subscribed to.

- Use the CHANNEL UP or DOWN buttons to see if the missing channels are now showing.

- By pressing the blue GUIDE button repeatedly, you may cycle through all channel lists, including those you may not be subcribed to.

2. Press the blue MENU button on your remote control, then press number 5 for "Locks".
- If you are asked to enter a password, enter your password, then select use the blue UP or DOWN arrow buttons to select the "Unlock System" option, then press ENTER to unlock the system.

- Press the red CANCEL button several times, and use the CHANNEL UP or DOWN buttons to see if the missing channels are now showing.

If channels are still missing from your Program Guide, unplug the power cord for your DISH Network receiver from the electrical outlet, and wait fifteen (15) seconds.

6. Try to change channels with your DISH Network remote. If the channels are still missing from your Program Guide, continue with Step Seven below.
